School placement: Students affected by cancellation should register to rewrite the BECE

The Bono Regional Free Senior High school coordinator, Mr. Kumi Ortis has urged Headmasters in the various senior high schools in the region to check the BECE candidates’ results because some students have been placed in their school and when their details are entered, their names can be accessed on the school system.

He emphasized that, when you are facing a challenge of accessing the name of the student on the system, then it may be that there is cancellation in some of the subjects ie English Language, Mathematics, or Integrated Science, and normally those Candidates are always having aggregate 54 as their results.

He also advised the parents to educate and encourage their wards to register to rewrite the BECE and secure their placement and they shouldn’t fear for them to register to write again. They will pass and will be placed into the Senior High in the subsequent year. They should not give up.
