Seasoned gospel musician Salome Nketia has announced the first edition of her annual concert, “Dwell with Salome Nketia”, as she marks a decade of ministry in gospel music.
The event will take place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, under the theme “Celebrating the Faithfulness of God”.
Nketia revealed plans for the concert in a post on her official Facebook page, describing it as her first major event since beginning her 10-year journey in the gospel music industry.
The gathering is expected to unite worshippers and established gospel musicians for an occasion centred on praise, worship and spiritual reflection.
Further information, including the names of the artistes scheduled to perform, will be released in due course, according to Nketia.
The musician’s announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter in her career and is intended to establish “Dwell with Salome Nketia” as an annual gospel event.
The concert will focus on celebrating God’s faithfulness through music, worship and fellowship. Its inaugural edition is expected to provide an opportunity for worshippers to come together while also highlighting Nketia’s 10 years of work in gospel music.
Nketia has not yet disclosed the complete line-up of performers or other details about the programme. Those announcements are expected to follow at a later date.
By launching the event as an annual gathering, the gospel musician aims to create a recurring platform devoted to worship and reflection. The first concert, themed “Celebrating the Faithfulness of God”, will serve as the starting point for that vision.
The announcement comes as Nketia reaches a significant milestone in her gospel music ministry. Her decision to introduce a major event after 10 years reflects the importance of the period in her career and gives the concert a commemorative character.
“Dwell with Salome Nketia” will therefore combine a celebration of Nketia’s decade in gospel music with a wider invitation to worshippers and gospel musicians. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 4 October 2026, with more information to be provided in due course.
