Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Didi Dramani, says his side’s failure to beat Hohoe United in their Ghana Premier League opener had little to do with playing with ten men for over half an hour.
The Phobians were held to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium, despite dominating possession after a Hohoe United player was sent off in the second half.
“It doesn’t matter that we played with ten against eleven for more than 30 minutes and didn’t win,” Dramani said after the match. “Maybe Hohoe United were lucky we couldn’t find the final pass or touch. Another team might not be lucky.”
Hearts will be under pressure to bounce back in their next fixture as fans continue to demand more cutting edge in front of goal.
