The second Loveworld Trade & Investment Forum (LTIF) will bring entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and business leaders to Accra on 6–7 October 2026, with discussions focused on expanding African businesses and strengthening cross-border trade.
The two-day event will be held at the Ohene Konadu Auditorium, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), under the themes of Production, Trade, Trust and Innovation (PTTI).
Organisers say LTIF 2026 will address the practical obstacles faced by companies seeking to move beyond their domestic markets and compete across borders. Discussions will include production capacity, access to capital, market intelligence, pricing, standards, supply chains, cash flow management and the requirements of cross-border commerce.
The programme will feature keynote sessions, policy discussions, investment-focused meetings, an exhibition and trade fair, and business-to-business (B2B) engagements. Structured B2B matchmaking is also planned, giving participants opportunities to establish commercial relationships, while selected ventures will present investment pitches to potential funding sources.
For entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the forum will focus on financing, production, market access, standards, supply chains and expansion strategies. Investors will have the chance to meet businesses and assess emerging opportunities, while policymakers and industry leaders will consider the frameworks and partnerships required to support regional commerce.
Accra edition follows Lagos launch
The Accra event follows the inaugural LTIF, which took place in Lagos, Nigeria, in November 2025. According to the organisers, more than 1,500 business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs attended that forum, where more than 20 speakers contributed to the programme.
About 2,500 participants from Ghana and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region are expected at the second edition.
The organisers said Accra was selected as part of LTIF’s broader expansion across Africa. They highlighted Ghana’s role as a gateway to the West African market, as well as the city’s position as the host of the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
A central feature of the 2026 forum will be the Business Expansion Growth INitiative (BEGIN), a programme of the Ministry of Commerce, Loveworld Kingdom. The initiative is designed to help businesses become more structured, fundable and investment-ready, while supporting LTIF’s aim of linking entrepreneurs with investors and encouraging commercial partnerships.
At the first forum, Stephanie Oforka, Head of Commerce, Department of Commerce, Loveworld, called LTIF “a catalytic marketplace for leaders and investors”.
She said the platform was intended to form partnerships capable of transforming industries, communities and national economies.
Organisers said the 2026 event would continue that work. They stressed that the forum would not provide one solution to Africa’s trade challenges, but would offer a setting for stakeholders to exchange ideas, find opportunities and build commercial connections.
Registration and exhibition tours will begin at 9:00 a.m., with sessions starting at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is free, but registration is required. The forum is open to entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, business executives and other stakeholders involved in Africa’s trade and investment ecosystem.
