Zuma ends three-day visit

South Africa President Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma has brought his official state visit to Ghana to an end after leaving for his country Wednesday morning.

President Zuma arrived in Accra on Monday for a three-day official visit, which is a reciprocal one to the 2011 State Visit to South Africa by late President John Atta Mills.

The South African president’s visit saw several bilateral agreements signed between Ghana and South Africa.

President Zuma and his wife, Madame Thobeka Madiba-Zuma, laid wreaths in honour of Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Prof. John Atta Mills at the Asomdwee Park.

He was accompanied to Ghana by his wife and ministers of South Africa as well as South African businessmen.
