Zeal Environmental Technologies donates to schools, foundation

Zeal Environmental Technologies Limited, a waste management company, on Friday donated educational materials estimated at GH?3,500 as well as dustbins to the Nana Kobina Nketsia Basic Schools at Essikado near Takoradi.

The educational materials include exercise books, chalks, pens, pencils, notebooks and mathematical sets.

The company also donated GH?1,000 to the Nana Kobina Nketsia Foundation at the ceremony.

Mr. Kwaku Ennin, Chief Executive Officer of the company who made the presentation, said the donation was in fulfillment of the company’s social responsibility to communities in its catchment areas.

He appealed to educational institutions to inculcate the culture of environmental cleanliness in children.

Mr. Ennin said it is the vision of the company to assist schools and institutions to create a clean and friendly environment to facilitate development.

Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhene of Essikado Traditional Area expressed his appreciation to the company for the donations and urged it to continue sensitizing the public on the need for clean and healthy environment.**
