Former President Jerry John Rawlings was on Saturday at the Congress of his wife and former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings’ party National Democratic Party (NDP).
Speaking on a number of issues, he highlighted the importance of the 2016 elections, which are to hold in November, adding it was a significant democratic step for Ghana.
Last Saturday’s congress also had some representatives of other political parties, attending.
