We’re not recruiting nurses – GAF

The Ghana Armed Forces has raised an alert over a scam circulating on social media that it is recruiting nurses into its medical corps at the 37 Military Hospital.

According to the Deputy Director of Information and Press Relations, Lieutenant Commander Andy La-Anyane, “The military high command wishes to advise the general public to disregard such message as there is no such recruitment taking place at the moment.

“We wish to mention that any recruitment into the Ghana Armed Forces is always advertised in the media, and prospective applicants, who qualify, would then apply,” he said.

Lieutenant Commander La- Anyane also charged the public to debunk rumours that there is any recruitment ongoing for nurses to fill any perceived gap at the medical corps.

“The general public must report any person who would put out such false information to the police for possible prosecution,” he said.
