Water shortage crisis would be resolved – MCE

Mr Ben Ohene Aye, the Municipal Chief Executive of Nsawam/Adoagyiri Municipality, has said government is initiating the appropriate measures to end the water shortage that has hit the municipality and its environs.

He gave the assurance at the celebration of the 59th Independence Day Anniversary at Nsawam.

Mr Ohene-Aye said already tankers of water hired by the government have been supplying water to communities in the municipality.

He said the government has supplied dual desks to schools in the municipality and constructed school buildings some of which have been completed.

Mr Ohene-Aye said efforts are being made to complete the Aburi to Nsawam road .

He said three best students at the last year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the municipality were presented with laptop computers by the Municipal Assembly and urged other students to do their best this year.
