The Western Regional branch of the Nasara Group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declared its support for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his bid to be elected as the presidential candidate of the party.
The group said at a press conference that Nana Akufo-Addo was the rightful person to lead the party in Election 2016.
Alhaji Mohammed Aminu, the Regional Nasara Co-ordinator, told the press conference that “Nana Akufo-Addo has shown enough commitment to the Muslims by nominating Dr Mahmudu Bawumia as a running mate for two successive elections”.
He said all the Nasara coordinators in the 26 constituencies of the Western Region had a firm belief in Nana to lead the party to victory and urged all party members to continue to pray for the NPP.
