Making the presentation at a short ceremony at the hospital, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology Student said the gesture was part of his social responsibility, especially on Valentine’s Day, when people all over the world showed love to the needy and loved ones.

Mr. Apaspanga said he chose the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital because of his studies background in Psychology and his love to lend a helping hand to the needy and helpless in society, which was in line with his campaign theme “For Your Supreme Interest and Welfare”.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the Deputy Director of Nursing Service at the hospital, Mrs. Adiza Nelson expressed gratitude to the SRC aspirant and his team, for their benevolence, describing it as very timely.

She appealed to the general public and other philanthropists for more support to cater for the 74 inmates made up of 21 females and 53 males, since the hospital is solely run base on donor support.

Mr. Apaspanga and his team later visited the various wards to interact with the inmates and nurses.
