Triplet mother appeals for support

Twenty six year old triplets mother , Emelia Adobea has appealed to public spirited individuals and organisations as well as the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to help her take care of the children.

Making the appeal through the Ghana News Agency, Emelia who lived with her 68 year – old mother at Nankese near Suhum in the Eastern Region , said has four other children and she is unemployed as well as the husband.

She said after the delivery of the triplet, she had an operation in February at the Koforidua Regional Hospital and the husband , Annor Yeboah abandoned them at the hospital and bolted away and nobody knows his where about.

Emelia said, one Madam Akosua Takyi, a baker in Koforidua paid all their hospital bills and transported her and the triplets to Nankese.

She said, at the moment, she and the babies and her mother live on charity and she does not have sufficient clothing to cover the babies at night.
