Three brothers allegedly kill father

Goaso (B/A), May 4, GNA – A circuit court at Goaso in Asunafo North District has remanded three brothers for allegedly killing their father. Sampson Adeka, 22, God-dey Adeka, 20 and Muwuley Adeka, 18, would re-appear on May 14.
Police Inspector Douglas Asaana told the court that the deceased, Moses Kwabena Adeka, was a farmer and lived with his family, including the suspects, at Atoom.
He said about three months ago the deceased informed the family that he wanted to dispose of part of his farmland to enable him to put up a building in his hometown.
The suspects opposed it vehemently and threatened to kill their father if he dared to carry out his plan.
Police Inspector Asaana said on April 21 the three brothers disappeared from the village and at about 2000 hours that same day the deceased was shot and killed by unidentified persons as he relaxed in front his room. The three brothers were traced and arrested.
