Tema Hospital gets equipment

Tema, Aug. 14, GNA- Mr and Mrs Nii Quaye, resident in the Netherlands has donated a set of delivery equipment worth Euro 2,500 to the maternity ward of the Tema General Hospital.

Making the presentation on Thursday, Mrs Quaye said the donation was at the instance of Dr Benjamin Forkuo, a Gynaecologist/obstetrician of the hospital.

Dr Forkuo explained that the equipment will assist mothers to deliver when they become exhausted, while the monitors are to detect the breath of the foetus.

Dr Otu Tawiah, acting Medical Superintendent received the equipment and thanked the couple.
