Twifo Praso, Mar. 29, GNA – Ms Evelyn Adjei, 28, died later while her friend, Ms Vida Okoe 14 was treated and discharged when they were knocked down by a taxi cab at Praso last Sunday.
According to Mr Peter A.K. Ayirezang, Praso District Police Commander the couple were returning home after church service when they were knocked down by the taxi cab.
The Police Commander said Mr Okoe was treated and discharged at Praso hospital, while Ms Adjei who sustained serious injuries was referred to central regional hospital where she died later.
