Accra, Jan. 8, GNA – The Council of Patrons, National Executives and the entire members of the Supporters Union of Ghana (SUGHA) has congratulated Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, President of the Republic of Ghana for the good fight he and his party put up to assume the leadership and governance of the country.
A statement signed by Harry Awuah Baffour, General Secretary and Acting President of SUGHA said, “We pledge our unflinching support to the President and the party and wish him and his executive members all the best in their administration of the country. “We have no doubt that your high sense of discipline, humble nature, dedication and humility will spur you on to make this nation the shinning star of Africa and become one of the best President’s Ghana has ever had.”
SUGHA expressed the hope that the President, who is a known sports person will give prompt attention to sports development in the country in order to put Ghana on the world map as a competitive sports nation.
