Students urged to lead decent lives

Twifo Praso (C/R) Dec. 24, GNA- Mr Abraham Odoom, the Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Chief Executive, has appealed to students to lead decent lives by abstaining from pre-marital sex to avoid contracting HIV/AIDS.

Mr Odoom was speaking at a day’s workshop on HIV/AIDS pandemic for 300 Junior Secondary School (JSS) students drawn from the district. It was organised by ‘Family of Hope’ a local NGO, to sensitise participants and train them as peer educators in their respective communities.

Rev. Ababio Danquah, the district HIV/AIDS focal person, appealed to the students not to shun AIDS patients.
