Students denied access to exams hall over fees

The fate of over four hundred WASSCE candidates at the Mount Sinai Senior High School hangs in the balance as school authorities are preventing them from writing the exams over unpaid fees.

Scores of the students were Wednesday delayed for more than an hour for the Home Economics practical exam due to their failure to settle their arrears.

One of the affected students who spoke to Starr News said the situation has been devastating for them.

“It’s a difficult situation for us. We know our parents don’t have the money now and we are begging the school authorities to allow us write the exams because this is our life. We have been appealing to them since the exams started to allow us write,” he said.
