Stratcom ready to work with media

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA – Mrs Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, Chief Executive of Stratcom Africa (SA), a communications and public relations consultancy firm, on Thursday expressed the Company’s readiness to deepen its relationship with the media because of the critical role it plays the society.

Mrs Cobbah was speaking at a soire organized by the company to interact and deepen its partnership with the media. “We recognise the important role of the media in educating and informing the public on important matters such as water, electricity and politics”, she said.

She said the Company’s work with the media was an important means for reaching customers.

Mrs Cobbah said Stratcom’s accurate and timely information to the media and to the public in general was important and would want to count on the media to support the Company to achieve this. She also called on the media to facilitate access to information from different industries.

Mr Moses Cofie, Chief Operating Officer of SA, observed that it had enjoyed working with the media closely throughout 2006. “We think that this is a good point to celebrate the partnership and the relationship and also to launch into a deeper relationship”, he said.
