The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has cautioned Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) against allowing Personal Assistants (PAs) to usurp their official responsibilities.
Addressing the media alongside the MMDCEs, Madam Ocloo expressed concern over growing reports of PAs overstepping their roles by approving documents and even representing Chief Executives at official meetings.
“Some of you have surrounded yourselves with Personal Assistants who have virtually taken over your official responsibilities. If you have decided to bring PAs, let their roles and responsibilities be clear, and it is strictly to help you organise your schedules, manage your time, and provide administrative support,” she said.
