Spiritan University College holds fifth graduation

The Spiritan University College at Ejisu, one of the Catholic Church-run tertiary institutions, has held its Fifth Graduation ceremony, with a call on the graduating students to make a difference.

The Rector, Reverend Father Anthony Anomah, said they should use their acquired skills, knowledge to assist and to find workable solutions to the development challenges facing their communities.

The expectation is that they would become assets not just to themselves, but society and humanity in general.

A total of 30 students graduated and were awarded degrees and diplomas in Philosophy, Social Sciences, Religious Studies, Sociology and Economics.

Rev Fr Anomah encouraged them to make the best use of every opportunity or situation and to contribute their quota to the building of a better place for all.

He reminded them that education should lead to eternal life and, therefore, urged them to remain steadfast in their religious faith, hopeful of the future and to be at peace with God and their neighbours.

The Rector intimated that plans were underway to introduce new academic programmes, beginning next academic year.
