Sowa named Acting Commissioner of SEC

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA – The Securities and Exchange Commission has designated Dr Nii Kwaku Sowa, a Commissioner, as Acting Director-General.

A statement signed in Accra on Friday by Professor G.K.A. Ofosu-Amaah, Chairman of the Commission, said the appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of Dr Charles Asembri as Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The appointment took effect from August 25.
