School block inaugurated at Ntensere

A six-unit classroom block with an office, store and library built at a cost of GH¢150,000.00 has been inaugurated at Ntensere in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District.

It was built with support from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).

Nana Asare Bediako, the District Chief Executive (DCE), reiterated the government’s determination to create the right conditions for effective teaching and learning.

He said it was because of this that the government had been working hard to tackle the problem of “schools under trees.”

Education, he said, is one of the key pillars of the government’s “Better Ghana Agenda” and would therefore continue to receive the needed attention.

The Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. Benito Owusu-Bio, appealed to all stakeholders to accept to play their expected roles well, to raise academic performance.

He presented four computers and accessories to the school to enhance the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT).**
