Red Cross members asked to intensify education on health

Mr Peter Justice Ansah, Secretary of the Gomoa West District branch of the Ghana Red Cross Society, has charged members to intensify their public educational activities on domestic and environmental hygiene in rural communities.

Mr Ansah gave the advice at a meeting with members of the Society at Gomoa Ankamu in the Central Region.

He said as champions of this highly recognized organization, it behoved on them to make their presence be felt in their various communities, through regular sensitization on the improvement of the health of the people.

Mr Ansah reiterated the call on assembly members in the district to offer Red Cross members the needed co-operation and support to ensure the successful execution of their programmes.

He asked Red Cross members to always feel free to approach and discuss health programmes with chiefs and stakeholders in the area.
