One Abdul Mohammad has for the past few days, been wasting our eyes with articles on alleged wrongdoing at the Ghana High Commission in London ( ref.www.ghanaweb.com, 30 October 2010). This man who exhibits extraordinarily poor writing and analytical skills demonstrates that he has personal scores to settle with the High Commission. He takes advantage of the anonymity of the internet to defame accomplished individuals and eventually drags our nation’s unenviable name into disrepute. However those of us with enquiring minds wonder why anyone who has witnessed the changes the High Commission has undergone over the past year will engage in such diabolical acts.
My checks in the Ghanaian community reveal that a few months ago certain individuals who in the previous years, amassed wealth through fraudulent activities, ie. visa and passport fraud have been dismissed/ suspended from the High Commission under the current no nonsense regime in place. The principal culprit among these was one ERIC OGOE who now writes under the name ABDUL MOHAMMAD so readers do not be fooled. There is no Abdul Mohammad. It is the same old Eric Ogoe, the radio/TV presenter who has all of a sudden become Abdul Mohammad! The fact is he was dismissed after being caught red-handed in forgeries at Highgate. Several of his victims (including me unfortunately) are openly talking and if he does not cease his shameless activities, we will expose his other nefarious activities. A word to the wise is enough. If you are sure of what you are saying, why not use your own name? The kinds of things you write tell me that you know nothing about how our Missions operate and you care not to do due-diligence before you write. Rather than being apologetic to those you defrauded and the financial loss you caused Mother Ghana, you have the audacity to dishonour us too.
So ERIC OGOE, your cover has been blown. Come out and confess and your lies and sins shall be forgiven. We are prepared to do battle with you. We cannot stand idly by for you to bring disgrace upon all of us.
