President Jerry Rawlings has presented copies of the First Medium-Term Development Plan and Programme of Action prepared by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) under Ghana -Vision 2020 to the Speaker of Parliament. A statement issued by Mr R. Kofi Nyantakyi, Head of NDPC’s Public Affairs Unit, said this is in compliance with the Constitution. Copies were presented to all sector ministers, deputy ministers, chief directors and directors of planning departments of all ministries and members of parliament for implementation. “Because of the valuable information and revelation of government’s policy thrust in the documents, every Ghanaian and foreign investor is encouraged to own copies, which are available for purchase at the Public Affairs Unit of the NDPC at the Flagstaff House.” in Accra.
