Rainstorm destroys houses, properties at Doamaa Ahenkro

Dormaa Ahenkro (B/A), March 15, GNA – A severe rainstorm hit Dormaa Ahenkro last Saturday and ripped the roofs of two houses, damaging personal property valued at about 32 million cedis. The affected houses were the Mission house of the Anglican Archdeaconry and the residence of Mr. Djan Kwadwo Yeboah, Senior Technical Veterinary officer.

Damage to the Mission house is estimated at 20 million cedis while property destroyed in Mr Yeboah’s house was put at 12 million cedis. The two victims of the disaster have appealed to organizations such as NADMO and the Dormaa District Assembly to assist them rebuild their houses.
