PTA to build block of three classrooms

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), Aug. 12, GNA – The Parent Teacher Association of Seventh-Day Adventists Preparatory and Junior Secondary School at Dormaa-Ahenkro is to build a block of three classrooms estimated at 30 million cedis for the school. The project, which would take off next year, would be financed through the payment of a special levy of 30,000 cedis per child, Mr James Owusu, headmaster of the school, said at a PTA meeting. He appealed to the Dormaa District Assembly to assist with cement and other building materials. Mr Daniel Djan, Chairman of the PTA, urged parents and guardians to pay the fees of their children promptly to ensure the smooth running of the school. He called for a cordial relationship between the parents and the teachers to enable the school to grow.
