Principal of Mampong Midwifery Training School debunks allegations

The Asante Mampong Midwifery and Health Assistant Training School, has refuted allegations that the authorities of the academic facility have refused to register students who were referred in last year’s licensure examination to re sit.

Mrs Lydia A. Yamoah, Principal of the School said all but six of the 123 students have been duly registered and are being offered all the needed support to rewrite the examination in February.

Addressing a press conference at the school campus on Thursday, Mrs Yamoah, explained that, the six students who were refused registration failed the care study and project work for this reason, the Nurses and Midwives Council , organisers of the examination, decided to deny them the chance to rewrite the examination.
