Prez Mahama not aware of car distribution – John Jinapor

Aide to President Mahama, John Jinapor has denied allegations that the President is distributing brand new cars to some female students across the country’s universities.

Speaking on Citi FM in Accra, Mr. Jinapor said “it’s inaccurate, it is blatantly false, and the President does not distribute vehicles. The President is unaware of what Mr. Kennedy Agyapong is accusing him of.”

MP for Assin North Kennedy Agyapong over the weekend accused President Mahama of vote buying, by distributing brand new cars to female university students.

According to Mr. John Jinapor, the outbursts by the Member of Parliament for the Assin North constituency were unfortunate.

“A Member of Parliament who goes on air and describes the sitting President as an idiot, I think that it’s unfortunate,” he added.

“This is trademark of the NPP. They are always condoning wrong doing, they are always encouraging foul language! … The people of Ghana saw the wisdom in the choice between President Mills and President Mahama. They refuse to vote for Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia and so by extension what Kennedy Agyapong is doing, is simply insulting Ghanaians,” he noted.

Mr. Jinapor however called on Ghanaians to reject that level of politics and this level of insults.
