A presidential dispatch rider whose name has been given as Michael Kojo Essel has died in a crash.
Essel is said to have met his untimely death Saturday while leading a Nigerian delegation to Cape Coast.
A sister of the deceased Matilda who spoke to Kasapafmonline.com Sunday morning confirmed the incident, and said news about the death reached their family Saturday evening (around 7pm local time), but they have since learnt the crash happened in the morning.
His body has since been deposited at the Police Hospital Mortuary in Accra.
The family has since been to the Tema Community 8 residence of Essel, and have informed his wife of the unfortunate accident.
