PPP is the only party to redeem Ghana – Regional Chair

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Mr Kwaku Fredua-Agyeman, has urged Ghanaians to vote the party into power in 2016, because it was the only political party capable of redeeming the country from its current economic hardships.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, he disclosed that, a PPP government led by Paa Kwasi Ndoum, had all it took to revive the struggling economy, and help raise the standards of living of ordinary Ghanaians.

Mr Fredua-Agyeman said, as part of efforts to lessen the burden on the ordinary Ghanaian, the party had policies and strategies, such as improving the business climate, to ensure investment and job-creation, for Ghanaians to stay at home to help develop the country.

He said the party was also committed to provide quality education for every child, and ensure free and compulsory education in public schools from the kindergarten to Senior High School, with adequate facilities.

“An integral part of this objective will be to significantly increase vocational training, so that all school leavers could gain employable skills” he added.

Mr Fredua-Agyeman emphasized PPP’s strategies to provide energy for industrialization and rapid development of the country, and make Ghana a net exporter of power again in four years.

Mr Fredua-Agyeman said they had put measures in place to win the confidence of the electorate, to take the party serious.

He urged the party executives in the region to continue with the hard work, show commitment and be dedicated in playing their various roles, for the party to gain the needed grounds in the region.
