Bawku (U/E), April 9, GNA – Office equipment in the Old Assembly Block that houses various offices valued at over 20 million cedis were destroyed on Thursday as a result of power fluctuations. The offices include the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Judiciary Service and Non-Formal Education Division.

Four departments on the same block, whose officers were not in the office early, were spared.

Power stayed off for about 10 minutes before it came on again for two minutes. It went off for about five minutes and on and off. The Volta River Authority (VRA) said the problem was from the main lines serving Bawku.
