Police refuse to name KKD’s sexual assault victim

The Police have refused to name the 19-year-old girl allegedly sexually assaulted by showbiz icon Kwasi Kyei Darkwah.

“For now we want to protect her identity [but] from the information the police has, she is not a minor,” public affairs director of the Accra regional police Command ASP Afia Tengey told Starr FM’s Kobby Gomez-Mensah Sunday.

“Now she is the victim in the case and I would wish that her identity is protected,” Tengey stressed.

StarrFMonline.com has, however, learnt that the teenage girl in question is called Effe.

She was lodging with the ace former radio presenter at the African Regent Hotel within the Airport residential area at the time of the alleged sexual assault.

KKD was arrested Saturday December 27 by the Airport Police Command following the complaint of the teenage girl.

While the complainant insists KKD sexually assaulted her, the CEO of the Finest Productions also insists the two of them had consensual sexual intercourse.
