Police chase fraudster

The police in Kwabenya are looking for one Peter Kuffuor for his alleged involvement in a fraud case.

Kuffuor who is said to be member of the Action Chapel branch in Maryland, United States is accused of defrauding one Kwadwo Owusu Sarfo of US$8,000.00.

A police extract, a copy of which is in the possession of DAILY GUIDE said Peter Kuffuor who is believed to be hiding in Maryland, collected the said amount from Owusu Sarfo in March this year(2015) under the pretext of securing a visa for him to travel to the United States of America.

He however failed to live up to his word.

Instead, he was said to have given Owusu Sarfo two different United States passports bearing the names of Victoria Kuffuor with passport number 516888606 and Peter Christian Kuffuor with passport number 516888607 to travel with even though they were for his children.

Owusu Sarfo was however said to have turned down the offer for fear of being arrested and subsequently prosecuted, making him stranded.

Kuffuor was then said to have gone into hiding and had since not resurfaced.

The police are therefore looking for Peter to answer charges with regard to the case.
