People in Effutu Ansaful attend training in soap making

A 10-day training workshop that seeks to equip citizen of Effutu Ansaful, a farming community, with soap making skills to help them earn a living has started at Effutu Ansaful.

The training initiated by Effutu Municipal branch of Rural Enterprises Programme (REP) which is part of government’s efforts to reduce poverty and better the lots of the people especially those in the rural areas.

The beneficiaries are made up of 4 men and 21 women and were taught how to set up their own businesses.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Francis Owusu Ansah, the Effutu Municipal Coordinating Director, urged the beneficiaries to take the training seriously.
