Three soldiers are reported dead in an accident at Dzake-Peki in the Volta region.
Eyewitnesses said their Toyota Hiace vehicle with registration number 14 GA 96 had a head on collision with an oncoming Benz bus fully loaded with passengers and goods including bicycles and roofing sheets.
The accident which occurred Saturday evening left several of the bus passengers injured and have been rushed to a hospital for treatment.
An eyewitness said judging from the mangled state of the Toyota vehicle, it will be difficult for the soldiers to survive.
Their bodies were yet to be retrieved from the vehicle hours after the incident.
