Parliamentary Candidate-elect provides clean water for constituents

Effiduase-Asokore constituency is already enjoying some developmental projects by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate-elect.

Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, as part of his plans for the constituency, renovated two boreholes at Seniagya – a community in the constituency.

The boreholes, according to the candidate, have been broken-down for the past four years.

However, the over eight thousand residents of Seniagya and surrounding communities in the Ashanti Region will now have access to clean and safe water with the successful commissioning of the reconstructed boreholes.

Until recently, the residents had to trek for miles to get access to water for drinking, cooking and washing.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com, Dr. Ayew Afriyie noted that he responded to the needs of the people following the acute need for safe drinking water for the people and to save the community from risk of water-borne diseases among other hardships.

“As a new parliamentary candidate elect, in less than 100 days I am putting smiles on the electorates’ faces,” he added.

Dr. Ayew Afriyie also mentioned some areas in his constituency where he is set to roll out some developmental projects, adding, “In other villages like Atakrom, Akuakrom and Senchi, I am initiating a KVIP which I have committed money into it.”
