O8 Media has strengthened its position as one of Ghana’s emerging creative production companies after delivering a series of high-profile projects in Ghana and abroad during 2026.

The company, which specialises in cinematography, video production, editing, colour grading and visual storytelling, has continued to work with individuals, celebrities, influencers, corporate brands, multinational companies and media organisations. Its growing portfolio has helped extend its reach locally while increasing its international presence.

A major milestone came in February, when O8 Media travelled to Cote d’Ivoire alongside EchoHouse Ghana and Coca-Cola Ghana to cover the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour. The production involved media organisations including TV3 Ghana, as well as influencers Ama Burland, Kojo Jnr, Lisa Quama, Chef Abby and GH Kweku.

The assignment underlined O8 Media’s ability to manage large-scale productions involving multiple partners and high-profile talent. It also added to the company’s growing reputation for delivering polished visual content in demanding international settings.

O8 Media has developed a strong working relationship with lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur Ama Burland. The company covered the launch of her Diya Impact Foundation Medical Support Programme before producing promotional videos for her in July following her signing as a Maggi ambassador.

The production hub also worked with DA Autos to film the unveiling of lifestyle influencer Gisela Amponsah’s new Mercedes-Benz. The cinematic treatment attracted considerable attention online and further showcased the company’s ability to produce visually striking material around premium lifestyle events.

Another prominent collaboration involved broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah. O8 Media created content for the Pepsodent “Do The Two” campaign and later documented behind-the-scenes moments from the 2026 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour.

In July, the company travelled to Turkey with Nana Aba and Nexus Global for an international business project. The trip marked another step in the expansion of O8 Media’s global production portfolio.

Corporate events have also formed an important part of the company’s work. On 30 May 2026, O8 Media produced visual content for the Guinness Ghana Annual Golf Championship, demonstrating its ability to cover and present high-end corporate occasions.

Expanding work with Media General

A key element of O8 Media’s growth has been its relationship with the Media General Group. The company has worked closely with TV3 Ghana, Onua TV and 3Xtra, producing reels, personality features, street interviews, market vox pops and promotional material for the group’s digital platforms.

Its cameras have been present at several major Ghanaian events, including the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) 2026, hosted by Charter House, Creator Circles 2.0, hosted by MG Digital, Parliamentary proceedings, the 3FM Gobɛ Festival, Onua Showtime, hosted by Nana Ama McBrown, and The Afternoon Show.

O8 Media has also produced engaging content featuring personalities such as Nana Ama McBrown, Anita Akua Akuffo, Godwin Nambo and Ms Nancy, among many others.

The company was founded by Obed Afram, whose creative direction has become closely associated with cinematic storytelling and visually engaging digital production. His focus on detail and commitment to quality have helped establish O8 Media as a trusted partner for both established brands and emerging creators.

The company’s work extends beyond individual projects. O8 Media has also contributed to the development of social media videography in Ghana, helping raise expectations around the quality and presentation of digital video content.

Competition in the creative sector remains intense, but O8 Media’s consistency, professionalism and readiness to take on larger assignments have placed it on a strong growth path. Its achievements in 2026 suggest the company is moving towards becoming one of Ghana’s most influential creative production brands.
