A nurse in her 20s was on Wednesday night raped at knife point at Ho-Kpodzi near Mawuko Girls Senior High School.
The Nurse was allegedly attacked from behind and raped at the Ho-Kpodzi “D” Basic School at about 2030 hours (8:30pm) after a down pour.
The Nurse, who made a report to the Ho Municipal Police, said she was going home after work at the Volta Regional Hospital when the rapist walked up to her, brandishing the knife and dragged her into the darkness.
She said the rapist took her mobile phone, inflicted some bruises on her before telling her that he was sent by someone to rape her.
A police source confirmed the story to the GNA and said though the Nurse said she could not identify the rapist, the Police is investigating the incident.
The Nurse told the GNA on Thursday morning that, she went to the Regional Hospital for medical attention and was asked to run some laboratory tests.
