Nsawam Police grabs hit and ran driver

Nsawam (E/R), Aug. 10, GNA – The Nsawam Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (MTTU), has arrested one Samuel Okantah, for allegedly knocking down and killing a pedestrian with his vehicle and refusing to stop. Chief Inspector James Domah told the Ghana News Agency on Monday that Samuel knocked down the middle-aged on a pavement at Ntoaso near Nsawam on August 3, this year and sped off.

He said the driver was arrested at Asankare Police Barrier. The police have appealed to the general public to help identify the man whose body has been deposited at the Nsawam Government Hospital. 10 Aug. 04
