NPP trains polling agents ahead of Nov elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun training its polling station and constituency youth organizers in the Ashanti Region ahead of 2016 November elections.

The training is aimed at training polling agents on how to protect the party’s votes in the region during voting and counting of ballot papers.

The office of NPP has noted that it is well equipped to man its votes in the November polls.

The party says it is poised to avoid repetition of errors recorded in 2012 elections which contributed to its defeat.

The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of NPP Justin Kodua, in an interview with Ultimate News’ Isaac Bediako explained that the party has learnt a lot of lessons from the 2012 elections which calls for formation of competent polling agents for the upcoming elections.

The polling agents will also be trained on the party’s targets, campaign message and strategy.
