Adenta MCE Speaks on Nanakrom Bridge, Development Projects, and Security

The Municipal Chief Executive of Adenta, Hon. Christine Ella Esinam Nongo, has assured residents that the Assembly is working hard to improve infrastructure and security in the municipality.

Speaking in an interview yesterday, Hon. Nongo said Adenta has received two instalments of the District Assembly Common Fund, which will be used to carry out projects in all 12 electoral areas. Among them are the upgrading of the Amrahia clinic into a polyclinic, phase two of the Ashiyie Model School, and phase two of the Adentan Community School, which once had pupils studying under trees.

On the Nanakrom bridge, she explained that although it was built six years ago, it has faced repeated damage. Engineers have been asked to assess the situation so that this time the bridge will be rebuilt to last for many years.

In terms of security, the MCE said streetlights have been installed across the municipality with support from the MP and the Regional Minister. Four electricians have also been engaged to maintain the lights. The MP has further provided motorbikes to improve patrols

Hon.Ella emphasized that when residents feel safe, they can contribute more to the development of Adenta.
