NPP releases timetable for congress

The main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has rolled out a timetable for its forthcoming congress.

It will start registration for its polling stations and electoral areas education as well as compilation of its polling station registers and validation processes from Friday October 11 to October 30, 2013.

The polling stations and electoral areas will start their events from November 1 and complete their elections on November 30.

Constituency elections will be held nationwide on December 14, except in the Eastern region which will hold its elections the following day.

Appointment of Constituency Executives is expected to be completed by December 28.

The Constituency albums will be ready by January 24, 2014 while regional albums will be completed by February 2014.

The party will hold regional Executive Elections nationwide on January 25, 2014 and complete its regional executive appointments by February 8, 2014.

It expects to complete the national albums by January 28, 2014, except that of the regional executives which will be completed by February 12, 2014.

External Branch elections will be completed by January 15, 2014 and the external Delegates’ list will be submitted to Headquarters by January 21, 2014.

It will all be crowned with the National Executive Elections on March 1, 2014.
