NPP presidential aspirant salutes Ghanaian Muslims

Mr Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, a presidential aspirant of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has sent a goodwill message to Ghanaian Muslims as they go through the holy month of Ramadan.

He urged them to use the period to pray to Allah for his abundant mercies on the nation and save the people from the current economic difficulties.

He said “it is my fervent hope and prayer that through your fasting and prayers in this ninth month of the Islamic calendar, Allah’s desire of no hardship for you, will ease the myriad of hardships we face currently as Ghanaians”.

He saluted them for their contribution to the promotion and sustenance of peace in the society.

Ghanaian Muslims, he noted, had demonstrated that they were truly for peace and development of mankind and prayed for Allah’s protection for them as they maintained purity of the heart and body during the Ramadan.
