NPP Owes ?2 Billion

ChoiceFm — NPP General Secretary candidate, Mr Francis Kojo Smith, has revealed that his party is being crippled by a ?2 billion debt crises.

Mr Kojo Smith made the claim whilst speaking at the International Press Centre and explained that the debt was due to unpaid service bills including electricity and water.

Denouncing what he described as ?cash and carry politics? he said ?the influence of money has become the order of the day with delegates having become commodities where the richest bidder takes all and he who pays the piper calls the tune.?

Kojo Smith expressed his sadness at the level of factionalism present within his party and predicted a dire outcome for the NPP in the 2008 elections.
