NORTHERN STUDNTS UNION CONGRATULATES H.E JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.
We the KNUST branch of the Northern Students Union wish to congratulate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his victory in the 2012 general election and more especially for his constant display of maturity, simplicity, humility, modesty and strong love for the country. We wish to state in unambiguous terms once again that we are moved by his consistent demonstration of leadership and that we acknowledge the challenge inherent in the mandate granted him by Ghanaians and wish to assure him once again that we are with him as a brother, a mentor and a leader.
We want to also take this opportunity to thank all Ghanaians for the political maturity shown during this period of another test of our democracy, other political parties and especially Nana Akufo Addo and the main opposition NPP for their response to the pockets of violence perpetuated by some of their members in the aftermath of the election which had the tendency of marring the country’s hard-earned reputation in the international community. May we continue to see ourselves as one people with a common destiny. Long live Ghana and our democracy! Long live H.E John Dramani Mahama.
