NDC will abide by Supreme Court ruling – NDC

The Deputy Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bede Zeideng, has assured Ghanaians that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a political party will abide by the ruling of the Supreme Court on the current electoral issues.

Speaking to Kaakyire Ofori Ayim on Atinka FM’s AM Drive, the former Upper West Regional Minister mentioned that as a political party, the NDC is ready to abide by any proposed date for the general elections.

According to Bede Zeideng, preparations towards general elections are not carried out in a day hence the NDC is taking its time to prepare very well for elections.

Asked if the outcome of the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Electoral Commission to submit names of persons who registered with the NHIS card could affect the NDC, Bede Zeideng hinted that the issue is still in court and that the decision and the outcome lies within the powers of the court.
