NDC vows to unseat ‘dishonourable’ Kennedy Agyapong

The Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC) Allotey Jacobs has vowed to cause the defeat of the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong in the 2016 elections.

“I’m determined to destool him as the MP for Assin Central and I’ve him on my radar that once in our political life he has to exit parliament.” Allotey Jacobs told Kasapa 102.5 FM Thursday.

Although many have expressed disgust about the conduct of the Assin Central legislator in Ghanaian politics, he’s somewhat solid on the grounds and have great admiration from his constituents.

Mr. Agyapong had cause to vacate the seat in this election but was pressured by the Chiefs within his jurisdiction to contest the 2016 parliamentary election.

But Allotey in an interview with Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM intimated that the loud-mouthed politician is not fit to lead his people as an MP insisting that he’ll in his capacity as the Chairman of the regional campaign team lead the crusade to topple his long reign in the Assin Central constituency.

Allotey who was irked by the recent foul comment made by the Assin Central MP against the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei has called on the Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo to condemn the unsavory words of the legislator.

The NPP MP launched a scathing attack on Mrs Osei at a campaign grounds in the Ashanti region, alleging that she was appointed after sex appeals.
