The executive body and the entire general council of the NDC –Mass would like to congratulate His Excellency the President elect of the Republic Ghana , John Mahama. As a branch we would like to thank God for what He has done in our lives and in the life of our dear country. The Massachusetts branch believes in the leadership of the Mahama – Amissah-Arthur ticket. And it is very evident that the majority of Ghanaians has also endorsed it in the just ended election. Once again we congratulate President Mahama and Vice Amissah-Arthur for a well-deserved and a resounding victory.
We would like to congratulate all Ghanaians for believing in the legacy of late President John Atta Mills and also believing in the better Ghana agenda. Also we enjoy with them for great victory and huge milestone attained. This victory will go down into book of History and posterity will read someday. Ghana has proved to the entire world that our democracy has come to stay and as a country we will do everything possible to allow it to grow.
The media houses also can not be forgotten, we congratulate them as well for the professionalism they show to the entire world. Our hearts were full of joy when we saw in the news and on the TV the way and manner they manned the polling stations and collated the results with professionalism and alacrity. This is an indication that our media houses have come of age. We thank them and congratulate them as well.
Also, to the electoral observers both local and international, including CODEO, ECOWAS, AU, and UN just to mention a few, who were at the various polling stations and collation centers to monitor the processes we say thank you. All political parties, civil society organizations and groups that contributed to this success we say aye koo!!.
Finally we would like to congratulate the electoral commission and his entire body for a very good job done. The executives as well as the campaign team of NDC also worked very hard for this victory. We congratulate all NDC supporters as well as sympathizers and the national security service for a very good job done. All Ghanaians in Massachusetts thank you all for a free, fair and peaceful elections.
